XEIA (/zeyˈyə/, Cross-Platform Ethically Implemented Automation) is a Cognitive Automation (CA) and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) organization that enables anyone with access to a desktop computer to train their very own software robots that automate the mundane repetitive parts of their workday.

Unlike a typical organization which is founded in order to enrich a limited number of individuals, XEIA believes that the exponential increase in productivity that automation enables has presented us with the opportunity to provide for every member of our human family.

Infrastructure for Public Service

To ensure that our organization regards our mission as highly as other organizations may regard shareholders, XEIA has elected to incorporate as a Public-Benefit Corporation (PBC).

Furthermore XEIA is the first Artificial Intelligence organization to commit its mission as a Public-Benefit toward assisting those that are made more vulnerable or disenfranchised as a result of automation.[1]

This is by design so as to provide the greater public with an Artificial Intelligence option that includes:

  • Public Incentive

    Whereas members of conventional enterprise are incentivized to provide Artificial Intelligence in pursuit of enriching a limited number of individuals, XEIA’s structure as a Public-Benefit incentivizes its members to develop Artificial Intelligence for the betterment of all humanity.

    This incentive is further reinforced by establishing an organization-wide Maximum Sustainable Salary that XEIA employees can only exceed by also increasing the 99% Public Disbursement

  • Public Oversight

    As automation gains greater adoption in society, the need for a publicly accountable infrastructure becomes imperative.

    As a Public-Benefit, XEIA has centered ethical automation as a cornerstone of its foundation by committing to ongoing updates and public conversation as we progress Post-Automation economic enfranchisement.

Maximum Sustainable Salary

XEIA’s Maximum Sustainable Salary is an internal figure establishing the maximum amount any member of the organization can receive as their base salary, regardless of their position in the organization or their years of commitment.

Benefits of a Maximum Sustainable Salary include:

  • Limits the salary disparity between top executive and entry-level positions
  • Predictable operating costs for the organization enables greater liberties for allocating resources, projects, and profits
  • Facilitates a Deliberately Developmental Organization (DDO) atmosphere where career planning can occur more transparently and collaboratively with clear dialogue that aligns goals and expectations for both the individual and the organization

Factors dictating the Maximum Sustainable Salary may change and adjust the figure’s value over time. Such factors can include the state of the job market, adjustments for cost of living, and year-over-year inflation.

For those working on the XEIA project that are motivated by the prospect of earning additional income after base salary, XEIA provides Inclusive Profit Disbursement.

Inclusive Profit Disbursement

Profits made in excess of the organization’s salary and operating costs (such as Research & Development, expansion of infrastructure, settling of debts, etc,) are allocated to these instruments:

  • 99% Public Disbursement

    XEIA expresses its mission of ethical automation by allocating 99% of its profit to public communities outside of its organization, beginning with those most vulnerable to the effects of extreme poverty (communities whose members sustain on less than US$1.90 per day).

    XEIA’s ultimate goal is to share the prosperity generated by automation with these vulnerable communities and ensure that the greater public has equality access to automation's recurring revenue.

    To ensure that XEIA’s team members are incentivized to grow the 99% Charitable Disbursement they have conversely been incentivized with a 1% Performance Disbursement

  • 1% Performance Disbursement

    Equal parts (1) a driver to grow the 99% Public Disbursement, (2) an internal performance incentive, and (3) an expression of gratitude to the XEIA team for maintaining a public-benefit digital infrastructure, those who contribute to XEIA full-time receive a portion of the 1% Performance Disbursement of XEIA’s profit.

XEIA may also issue bonds to finance expansion and new projects. On these occasions bond-holders are allocated their share of the profit first, then the remaining profits divided accordingly.
